This site stores three items in your browser's localStorage: your last-read chapter position, your light/dark display preference, and which chapters you have marked as read. These are stored on your device only and are never transmitted to any server or third party.
No personal data is collected, processed, or transmitted by this site.

Because no personal data is collected or processed, this site has no obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) or the Data Protection Act 2018 with respect to users. The text used on this site is from the edition edited by Evelyn Underhill (1882–1941), first published in 1922 by John M. Watkins, London, and transcribed by the Christian Classics Ethereal Library (CCEL). Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, copyright in the editorial work expired on 1 January 2012, being 70 years after Underhill's death on 15 June 1941. This text is accordingly in the public domain in the United Kingdom and may be reproduced freely.

The app code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is the original work of the site operator and is not licensed for reuse without permission.
